Dining Room in River Forest Residence

Contributor Christine Tusher chose to feature Alan Design Studio in her article “Objects of Desire: 8 Gorgeous Globe Light Fixtures“.  In the article, Tusher shares some of her favorite photos featuring globe light fixtures, and she chose the dining room from our River Forest Residence as one of the eight selected images.  The fixture in the photo is a vintage chandelier that Ruthie and her client purchased from an antique store in New York City.   The transparency of the fixture works well in the space because the room features a variety of bold elements.  This globe chandelier is perfect for the space, and makes a stunning addition to the room.  Ruthie adds that “when the light hits the cut edges of the glass, it creates patterned reflections on the ceiling” and adds a bit of sparkle.  We’re thrilled to be featured on Houzz, and excited that others love this fixture as much as we do!
